Social Media + Website Logo Requests
Canterbury, Kent
Use this page to submit your sponsored social media requests, any other year-round social media requests, and for sponsors to supply your logo for use on our website.
For all requests prior to our next event, please submit the form below by the deadline of 2nd April, but the sooner the better! Requests submitted after this date may not be processed in time for the event.
-
For sponsored social media posts, you will have been advised how many posts you are permitted to make. We are able to make sponsored posts on the platform of your choice, from Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Sponsored posts must indicate as-such, as per social media platform rules, such as including “Company XYZ proudly sponsors #PrideCanterbury”, or “#ad”, or similar. Please note that we cannot make any garuntee as to the date and time we schedule posts; these are also subject to change at short notice. We cannot create Instagram collab/co-author posts.
Requests are typically reviewed within one month + must be submitted by the advertised deadline (above). You must only submit this form if you have the authority to specify the social media posts for your organisation.
Failure to complete this form correctly may result in your request being rejected. Completing this form does not guarantee acceptance; we review all submissions carefully and will contact you with specific confirmation once reviewed. There may be charges associated with business social media requests that we can discuss with you, along with our sponsorship packages.
-
For all non-sponsored social media requests, please submit your assets + further details with the file uploader form below.
If your request is not directly related to Pride Canterbury, then we may be unable to respond or promote this during April–July (inclusive, four months). You may still submit a request for our team to review. Outside of this window, we will review all requests (please give us as much notice as possible) and we will promote a selection of those which are appropriate.
-
Please note that links aren’t clickable on Instagram, and Twitter has a 280 character limit (emoji’s may count as more than one character). The easiest way to check if the content is suitable is to copy/paste it into your own social media, before sending it to us. Please also refer to our Press + Media Kit.
-
Social Media Graphics must be formatted as PNG or JPEG. For Instagram, this must be sized at 1080×1080px. For Facebook + Twitter, we can accept either 1080×1080px (Square) or 1600×900px (Landscape). Alternative dimensions (i.e. portrait at 1080×1920px) and/or videos are only permitted with prior approval. If you have any other notes you need to share with us (i.e. tagging a user in a photo), please specify below. Please also refer to our Press + Media Kit.
-
All logos submitted should be in SVG vector format. Please provide your primary coloured logo. If possible, please also provide a white-only version of your logo.
You do not need to re-submit if your logo is already present. If you would like us to upgrade the resolution of your logo on our Partners website page, you may then re-submit it for reprocessing (please mention this in the upload notes).

We recommend that all social media requests are either aimed at providing value to our audience, or are showcasing some LGBTQ+ positive work your organisation has done, to ensure they are well received. Our team will review all requests and can offer feedback if required.
For example, for a charity offering a support service by phone, then your post could include both a graphic and caption that encourages those requiring support to reach out to you via the phone number.
Alternatively, if you are a company who runs an LGBTQ+ staff network and supports LGBTQ+ causes, then you could use this as an opportunity to share this positive work with our audience.
For a transport company, you could wish everyone a safe journey to pride and encourage people to visit your website to work out their travel plans.
If you are attending with a stall, you could use this as an opportunity to promote that you will be at the event with a stall and look forward to speaking to pride attendees about your work.
If you don't have a specific campaign that you want to use a social media post to target, then you could consider targeting your post at how you are proud to be directly supporting Pride Canterbury and/or that your team are excited to be joining this years event and wish everyone a happy pride. You could optionally make this more personal by using a quote from a CEO, director, manager, etc, that directly mentions our name of "Pride Canterbury".
We find that posts that are relevant to the event, LGBTQ+ work, or posts that directly add value to our attendees, will resonate best with our audience. We would recommend avoiding posts that are highly generic + corporate as they won't effectively engage our audience. Using our logo (per the provided guidelines and only with permission) with your own logo, in a message targeted graphic, can be a great way of reinforcing a partnership together.
Submit Assets + Make a Request
We can only process requests containing files. If you do not have graphics prepared, then please upload your logo. For multiple social media posts, we recommend submitting this form multiple times (one form per post) to ensure we schedule this correctly. For logos on our website, please submit a single form submission with all requested logo formats. Thank you.
